Mrs. Wm. Humphries,
president of the East Huron
District of the Women's In-
stitute asked "Why do we
keep making resolutions to
just one day or month of a
new year?"
Resolutions was her topic
when she spoke to members
and guests of Bluevale W.I.
"We must be resolute if
we are to have peace of mind
and if we intend to make the
world a better place to live
in." To have peace of mind
we must have justice; to have
justice we must have love,
which should extend to our
families, friends, neighbours)
country and around the
world.
Mrs. Humphries encOur-
aged all to write letters
individually, make a phone
call, or discuss the problem
rather than send one resolu-
tion to some company, coun-
cil or agency to make people
aware that we are not always
Itisfied with their actions.

They work in the worst kind of
driving conditions so people and
products can keep moving across the
province, even in the worst winter
weather.
As soon as you see the Snowplow's
blue light, glow down. Be patient-
don't try to pass; that's dangerous
for you and them.
Help them do their job.
Then do your part: be extra
alert, adjust your speed and driving
tactics to suit weather and road
