The Sacrament of the
Lord's Supper will be ob-
served in Knox Church on
Sunday morning, Oct. 7 at
9:45. The following' Sunday,
Oct. 14, anniversary . service
will be held at eleven o'clock
with Rev. Kenneth Knight,
Hensall, the guest minister.
Mrs. Wm. McNair, Lon-
don, spent several days last
week with Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Dunn.
Mr. and Mrs. John Paris,
Mitchell, visited Mr. and
Mrs. Alex Cameron on Wed-
nesday.
Mrs. Emma McCallum, St.
Thomas, and Mr. and. Mrs.
Sid Burnes, London, spent
the weekend with Mrs. Ida
Gordon.
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Chubb
and Mr. and Mrs. S. Schwark
and son Trevor have moved
to London. We welcome Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Feener and
family who are taking over
the store property October 1.
The first three meetings of
Cranbrook 1 4-H were held at
Mrs. Dorothy Cox's on. Sept.
10, 17 and 26th. All meetings
were opened with the 4-H
pledge. The officers are:
president - Kendra Baillie;
vice-president, Andrea
Haasnoot, secretary rotating;
treasurer - Arlene Strickler;
press reporter, Julie Prescott
We have learned four stitch-
es - the jovelin, continental,
bargello and cross stitch. The
next meeting is to be held at
Mrs. Cox's October 3rd when
we will learn the scotch and
cashmere stitches.

Blyth by bus on Monday on a
trip to Agawa Canyon.
The Cranbrook W.I. will
meet in the Community
Centre on Thursday evening,
October 4 at 8:30. There will
be a speaker from Family
and Children's services and
everyone is welcome to this
meeting.
