An enjoyable afternoon
was spent with residents of
"Maple Villa" as members
of the Afternoon Unit of the
UCW met there in the lounge
on Tuesday, June 5. Mrs.
Hemingway read a poem
.entitled "I am a per cent.
There are 100 of me."
Mrs. Steffler and Mrs.
Stephenson favoured with
two vocal duets, "The longer
I serve Him, the sweeter He
grows" and "Have you any
room for Jesus." Mrs. Bette
Campbell accompanied
A letter from. Mrs, Coultes
chairman of Church in Soci-
iety, asked members to re-
frain from buying Nestle's
products and using the cou-
pons. Their products are
being promoted in hot for-
eign countries where refrig-
eration is limited, resulting
in diseases and infection in
babies and children.
The roll call was answered
by naming a "Woman of the
Bible." Twenty-three mem-
bers were present. Twenty-
nine visitations were record-
with a BSc. in nursing.
Following the graduation,
guests were entertained at
the home of John and Joan
Morgan of London. Gillian
Morgan returned home with
her grandparents and spent
the weekend with them.

The Bremner and Allan
reunion was held on Sunday
at the home of Robert and
Isabelle Bremner. The rela-
tives were from Harriston,
Riverview, Fergus, North
Bay, London, Listowel,
Brussels and Ethel.
Mr. and Mrs. Rodney God-
den and family were in Ethel
for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Bremner attended the gradu-
ation ceremony at Western
University, London, last Fri-
day when their daughter
Kathryn Nesbitt graduated
