Lions club members Bruce Hahn, Paul Mutter, Bob Thomas, Dave Hastings and Bob Young also helped out wherever they were needed. Donations were collected by Ruth Machan, Kaye Stevenson, Pat Nolan and Jean Evans. Donna Sanderson organ- ized the carnival with the help of Audrey Cardiff. Lodge and Past Noble Grand of EdelweissRebekah Lodge of Seaforth. Funeral was held at the M.L, Watts Funeral Home, Brussels at 2;00 p.m. on Monday, Marai 26th, with Rev. E. LeDrew of Brussels United Church, of which the late Mrs. Sholdice was a member, officiating. Morning Star Rebekah Lodge, Brussels, held a Memorial Service, at the Funeral Home, on Sunday Temproary entombment took place in Brussels Cemetery Chapel. Pallbearers were, Bruce McCall, John Smith, Wilmer Cuthill, Rae Crawford, John McCutcheon and Jack Mitchell. Flower bearers were John Pipe, Russell Farrow and Art. McNaughton. OLDEST WOMAN AND OLDEST MAN — Dorothy Steffler and Norman Hoover were the oldest woman and the oldest man at the Family Figure Skating Carnival on Saturday night. BESTNURSERY RHYME CHARACTER — Shawn and Sharie Jacklin as Jack and Jill placed first for the Best Nursery Rhyme Character 15 and under when the family carnival was held Saturday nigh/t. (Brussels Post Photo) Obituary CATHERINE GRACE SHOLDICE Catherine Grace Sholdice of Brussels, wife of ygsson Sholdice, died in Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, March 24, 1979. She was 74 years of age. Daughter of the late John an'd-NElizabeth Pethick, she was bormat Winthrop. Surviving are her husband J. Watson Sholdice, one son., Ken, and three grandchildren, all of Brussels. She .was predeceased by three sisters and one brOTher, Mrs. Bob (Monte) Farrow'"of Brussels, Mrs. James (Ada) Walinsley, Mrs. Robert (Lillian) Joynt, and John Pethick, all of Seaforth. A member of Morning Star Rebekah Lodge of Brussels she was Vice Grand of that 4
