Winning the Curling Event was a rink composed of Brother Louis Feryn of the Stratford K of C as Skip, with Brother Ed Murray also of Stratford K of C, Mark Raithby, Ways and Means chairman of the Bluewater Shrine Club, and Brother Gary Rau of the Seaford' K of C. Coming second was a rink composed of Laurie' Slade, Past President of the Blue Water Shrine Club as Skip, Laurie had Brother Mike Tobin and Arnold Gro. enestege both of the Stratford K of C, and Brother George Tilley of the Seaforth K of C. Coming third was a rink skipped by District Deputy of District 31 K of C Brother Pat Osborn, Pat was ably assisted by Brother John Paul Rau abandoned because of the difficulty of finding logs to replace those which, in the chapel's 120 year history, have badly deteriorated. The re-located chapel at the Playhouse would have faced the court yard and would _have been used as a souvenir and gift shop.
