At a meeting of Brussels
council, Monday night
Members !discussed the fact
the arena can no longer keep
money raised from the bar at
weddings and dances.
The hall at the arena had
previously been rented out
for $75 and $100 and then the
money from the bar was kept
by the arena.
Councillor Gord Workman
suggested from now on that
somebody was going to have
to be employed at the door so
if there were 100 people $100
rent would be charged, if 200
pe 'ople, $200 rent would be
charged and so. on.
The money taken in from
the bar now has to be shown
as going into equipment for
recreation. but no one
individual can make a profit
from it.

Don't panic. if the sun is out,
you can use the "shadow

finding. It's simple and reas-

First, find an open space.
Drive a stick at least one

Wait at least 10 minutes,
then mark the shadow tip
again with a stake. Draw a
line between the second and
third stakes. That line is your
west-east axis. Now draw the
shortest line between your
original stake and the east-
west line. This line will point
north.
Above all, keep a cool head

MANURE PUMP
HYDRO-MAN MANURE PUMP
This specially designed pump forces
the manure from the barn, through an
underground pipe, to the storage area.
As the manure enters the storage area
from below, the outside surface forms a
crust, which retains the important
nitrogen and potassium inside the pile
and also reduces the odor and fly
problems. Mail the coupon for details.
