A large crowd enjoyed the
skating party in Belmore
Friday night, Santa arrived
and distributed bags of candy
to the little people.

of the quilt made by the
Triple Group of Knox
Presbyterian Church.

Eight tables of euchre
were played Thursday night
in the Bluevale Community
Hall. High prizes were won
by Mary Coultes and Ed
Stewart. Low prize was won
by Alice Elliott. The party
was in charge of Mr. and
Mrs. Glenn Sellers and Mr.
and Mrs, Lloyd Warwick.

During the week January
- 7, officers at Wingham
Detachment of the OPP con-
ducted 22 investigations. Fif-
teen charges were laid under
the Highway Traffic Act and
ten warnings were issued.
One charge was laid under
the Liquor Licence Act. One
charge was laid under the
Criminal Code.
During the week, there
were four motor vehicle coin,-
:sions which caused an estima
ted 55,050 in property dam-
age and minor injuries to on
person.
On Saturday, January 6,
Wayne W. MacLennan of
'Weston, received minor injur
les when the snow machine
he was driving entered a
rutted area in Turnberry
Township, and rolled over.
