Elwood Morden was in charge of the Sunday morning worship and took the theme for his sermon from Mark and entitled it “Fear, Friend or Foe”. We all live in a world, where we know not what tomorrow may bring, said F.ev. Morden. There is no such thing as a person without fear, as your friend fear can render you a ser vice, fear of ignorance has led to knowledge, fear of disease has led to the discovery of cures, fear of wars led to the forming of the “United Nations". Fear that is neurotic sometimes leads to Phobias, this kind of fear is your foe. 4-H LEADER AWARD — At Saturday's Huron 4-H Achieve ment Day at Stephen Central School Huron Home Economist Bea McClenaghan presented a five year leaders certificate to Lorna Finkbeiner, Crediton.
