Continuing the series
“These Met the Master...”
Rev. Keith Brown spoke on
“A Blind Man Meets the
Master,’.’ at morning service
in Lucan U.C. Few who were
helped by Jesus were called
by name, but the blind man
sitting by the road out of
Jericho, was mentioned as
being oBartimaeus, so he
must have been important,
either before or after his
healing.
He knew of the healings of
Jesus so when he heard the
crowd coming and heard
them say Jesus was there he
called and kept on calling in
spite of the crowd telling
him to be silent. His per
sistence paid off and Jesus
did hear him and asked that
he be brought to Him. He
asked the question “What do
you want from Me?”
Because of his faith he was
made to see and he began to
follow Jesus.
Mr. Brown said, Jesus
.comes to us today as he did
to the blind man, asking the
same question. Ready, will
ing and eager to help, Christ
comes to us today. If we
need healing or comfort in
any way we need, just ask
for it, with faith.
The junior choir under the
direction of Helen Brown
and Mrs. Dale Froats sang
two lovely numbers “You
Light Up My Life” and
“Creature Praise.”
