PREPARE FOR BAZAAR — The second annual Christmas Bazaar sponsored by the Exeter
Heritage Foundation will be held Saturday at the Town Hall. A large variety of arts, crafts

Christmas at town hall, Saturday
The second annual
‘Christmas at the Town Hall’
is being convened this year
by Mrs. BevRead, Heritage
Foundation member. This
year the event will be staged
on Saturday, November 25,
in the upper room from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m.
A tea table will be featured
where shoppers can drop in
for light refreshments, while
many goodies will entice
those who come to the amply
filled baking tables.
Two church groups, the
Catholic Women’s League
and the Christian Reformed
Women will have bazaar
booths with interesting items
for buyers.
As well, eight local craft-
speople will display and sell
their attractive wares. These
include Roy Stover, pottery;
Mrs. Donna Price, knitted
and crocheted items; Mrs.
Hank Green, pictures
painted on velvet; Mrs.
Eunice Smith, ceramics;
Mrs. Gale Caluwes, African
Violet craft; Mrs. Haugh,
decoupage; Karen Pfaff,
money trees. Quilts will also
be available.
Mrs. Read states she feels
confident this year’s event
will be an even bigger and
better sale than last year.

Euchre bingo was played
following the meeting and a
social hour enjoyed by all.

Hensall United Church was the setting for the August 12 wed
ding of Cindy Slade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Slade
of Hensall and Jeff Reaburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Reaburn also of Hehsall. The maid of honour was Miss Susan
Luther and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Kathi McMahon, Miss
Susan Trepanier, Mrs. DeanaGovers, junior bridesmaid Miss
Tracy Humby of Gander, Newfoundland. The best man was
Greg Kalcicand. The ring bearer was Chris Reaburn. The
guests were ushered by Steven Plunkett, Ron Johnson and
Glenn Slade. After a honeymoon in Niagara Falls the couple
took up residence in London.
