Several crafts to be displayed ................—■—!--------:-------------------l................... . ........ - -- . i- . - . . ’ i Christmas at town hall, Saturday The second annual ‘Christmas at the Town Hall’ is being convened this year by Mrs. BevRead, Heritage Foundation member. This year the event will be staged on Saturday, November 25, in the upper room from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A tea table will be featured where shoppers can drop in for light refreshments, while many goodies will entice those who come to the amply filled baking tables. Two church groups, the Catholic Women’s League and the Christian Reformed Women will have bazaar booths with interesting items for buyers. As well, eight local craft- speople will display and sell their attractive wares. These include Roy Stover, pottery; Mrs. Donna Price, knitted and crocheted items; Mrs. Hank Green, pictures painted on velvet; Mrs. Eunice Smith, ceramics; Mrs. Gale Caluwes, African Violet craft; Mrs. Haugh, decoupage; Karen Pfaff, money trees. Quilts will also be available. Mrs. Read states she feels confident this year’s event will be an even bigger and better sale than last year. Frown — at least you’ll get credit for thinking. Mrs. Maggie Campbell Jr. P.N.G. gave a report of the meeting which she and the Over 80 Club Louis Restemayer, Dashwood, will be 92 on November 21. Vice Grand attended Clinton Lodge hall making arrangements the “Speak-Off” for the United Nation trip. In the absence of the treasurer, Mrs. Hazel Corbett gave the financial report. Arrangements were made for the Bazaar, bake sale and lea on November 18, with conveners and assistants appointed for the different booths. Plans were made to hold the Christmas party on Wednesday, Decembers6, with an exchange of gifts. Euchre bingo was played following the meeting and a social hour enjoyed by all. Opening Dec.
