In their Wednesday game, they dropped a 3-2 decision to Strathroy at home. Exeter picked up 10 minor penalties in the contest, compared to the four handed out to Dorchester, and the offensive-minded defence were continually caught out of position up the ice, for cing goalie Peter Dearing into several key saves to protect the lead. Two defensive mistakes resulted in goals for the visiting Strathroy bantams as they handed Exeter their first loss of the season, Wednesday, in a close 3-2 struggle. The first Strathroy goal came when an Exeter defender had the puck stolen off his stick in the first period, allowing a breakaway goal, while in the third, another defender had his clearing shot stopped at the point and the puck was rifled back into the cage behind Peter Dearing. Bill Glover handled the ■ Exeter scoring with a goal in the second and one late in the game. Picking up assists on the plays were Dave Shaw, Scott Brintnell and Mike Clark.
