Kathleen Morley had supper Sunday evening with Mr. & Mrs. Jim Morley. Volland's at annual reunion The Volland reunioh was held in Harbour Park, Goderich Sunday, with approximately 35 people present. Races were held for children and adults and a prize was given for the oldest person present and won by Mrs. Elizabeth Volland of Hensail, aged 95. Next year the reunion will be held at the same place on the second Sunday in August. The 12 Huron County health-unit inspectors and clerical staff have been granted a 10.5 per cent in­ crease in a wage and benefits package covering two years. The Huron County health unit approved the agreement at a meeting which allowed for a four-percent increase retroactive to July 1. A further increase of 6.5 percent is effective January 1.” Local 1305 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), representing the workers, has . already ratified the agreement. Huron County council has approved any increase of up to four percent for this year. But further increase of 6.5 percent will have to be ratified by council at its next meeting. The four-percent increase will mean public health officials will now earn between $13,260 and $16,640 and secretary-stenographers will earn between $7,332 and ,412.
