They had just returned from a celebration trip to northern Ontario when around 30 family members and close neigh­ bours arrived and presented them with some lovely gifts for the occasion. Cecil Pepper, Hans Gerstenkorn, Wilmer Ferguson, Walter Spencer and Ron Mock attended the 26th annual United Church Men’s Conference at the Delawana Inn, Honey Harbour over the weekend. The June meeting of the U.C.W. of Chiselhurst United Church was held on Tuesday with the President Mrs. Jack Brintnell presiding and opened with a poem “Garden Party” by Mrs. Brintnell. Following the Theme Song and Theme Prayer Mrs. Don Beck presented the Worship “Love in the Light of our God” was the Theme. The business was discuss­ ed and Mrs. Earl Kinsman was in charge of the program, and read two poems after which a film “Stewardship,” Let’s Talk about Money by Roy Bonisteele was shown.
