entertain seniors

Institute entertained the
residents of the Blue Water
Rest Home for the May
birthday party. Mrs. Emil
Becker, Mrs. Earl Keller
and Mrs. Stuart Wolfe were
in charge of the program.
Carol Rader played a piano
solo, Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Love entertained with violin
and piano. Mrs. Dave Rader
played the piano and sang,
Mrs. Mervyn Tieman and
Mrs. Ross Love sang a duet
accompanied by Mrs. Ken
McCrae, Bra’nda Rader
entertained with her
ukulele. Gifts were given to
the; birthday recipents and
lunch served.

Crediton's Scouts
to attend jamboree

CREDITON
Crediton has a scout group
of eight members, under the
guidance of John Bierling. It
was the scouts who placed
second in the Goderich
camporee ten days ago, not
the Cub Pack as reported.
Further, because of their
outstanding achievement
and exemplary conduct, the
scouts will go to a ten day
jamboree in Ottawa this
summer. They will take part
in canoeing, sailing, hiking,
archery and in cultural
exchanges with Indian
groups.
