Mary-Ann Govers was elected president, Jackie Sullivan vice-president, Sarah McClure press reporter. Members adopted a rotating system for the position of secretary. Leaders are Jean Sullivan and Mrs. Margaret McClure. They discussed factors to consider when a garden plot is chosen, the reasons that a garden should be planted and what to consider when developing a plan for the garden. Groups U and C of the United Church Women catered to the curling banquet at South Huron Rec Centre, Exeter, Saturday evening. Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Ballantyne and grand­ daughter Brenda Ballantyne attended the church service at Thamesview United Church, Fullarton, Sunday and were guests later with Mr. & Mrs. Robert Ulch, Russeldale. Mr. & Mrs. Glenn Jeffery, Alan and Connie visited Sunday with Clarence Woodham. Don Jolly Cudmore assisted Mr. Ross Hargreaves with the church service Sunday morning.
