RENA CALDWELL KIPPEN The U.C.W. of St. Andrew’s Church, Kippen entertained the ladies of Zurich United, Hensail United, Hensall Presbyterian, Brucefield and Pgmondville to an evening of worship and song followed by a social hour of fellowship. Mr. & Mrs. Brent Hicks, Midland and Mr. & Mrs. Charles Leeming, Aurora visited with Mr. & Mrs. John Scott on Sunday, Mr. & Mrs. Harry Jacques and family visited with Mr. & Mrs. Earl French Saturday evening. Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Ferguson spent Sunday with Mrs. Wilma Gowan and Murray, London township. Sunday Mr. & Mrs. John A. Damen had a family gathering to celebrate Kathy Damen’s birthday and Mrs. going on a hike April 22, to Daynard’s farm, Staffa and are having a wiener roast afterwards. Damen’s mother Mrs. Irene Egan birthday. Sunday evening Mr. & Mrs. Lyle Worrall, Denfield visited with Mr. & Mrs. Hamilton Hodgins. Wednesday evening Mr. & Mrs. Hamilton Hodgins visited with Mr. & Mrs. Evan Hodgins, Lucan. May 17 they are planning to visit the Kippen East Women’s Institute and planning to do some en­ tertainment for them. Meeting seven was held at the home of Darlene Faber and had Karen Yamanto and her little girl Kimmy. Karen bathed Kimmy and fed her and each of the Busy Bees held Kimmy for a while. Meeting eight was held at Mrs. Hoggarth’s. The roll call was, “How I try to keep physically fit”. Each of the -Busy Bees came with an exercise to do. At the conclusion of the meeting the Busy Bees ran the length of Hoggarths lane. Achievement Day for the Busy Bees is Saturday May 27 at Seaforth Public School. Personals Mr. & Mrs. Harold Jones visited recently at Centralia with Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Huxtable. Mr. & Mrs. Doug McGregor are holidaying in Florida. Mrs. Norman Dickert has returned from Harriston.
