Dated at Seaforth, Ontario this 5th day of June 1979. McConnell, Stewart & Devereaux Seaforth, Ontario Solicitors for the executors 24:25:26c Neil family holds picnic The 31st annual Neil Reu nion was held June 10 at the home of Tom and Marv Koov with a good attendence. Maurice Neil got a good line of sports under way in the afternoon which was en joyed by young and old. Lawn darts was played in the afternoon with winners being Joe van Bynen and Clayton Kooy. A tug of war was won by Joe van Bynen’s side. Winners in sports were Bonnie Kooy, Joel van Bynen,’ Stephani Jones, Clyde Kooy, Jodi van Bynen, Verda Wilson, Flora Wilson, Verna Hicks, Gladys Spence and Mary Kooy. Oldest man present was William Essery, Oldest lady was Flora Wilson. A short business meeting was con- ducted by president Smitty Spence. The 1980 picnic is to be held on the same date at the home of Smitty and Gladys Spence, London with Betty Sutherland as president and Helen MacDonald as secretary-treasurer. A pic nic supper was enjoyed by all. tance in 5’and a half hours. Precise calculation showed the Winters bird to be the winner, placing first in the Lucan club, followed right on its tail by the DeHaan bird. On the same day a race was flown from Smiths Falls, a distance of 300 miles as the crow? flies. These birds were also liberated at 9:30 a.m. and the first one was clocked in by Adam Bratscher from the Bryanston area. The next four positions on the race-result sheet were captured by Ted Schendera, also residing in the Bryanston suburbs. In all fairness it should be reported that on the two previous Saturdays, Bratscher pigeons convin cingly won Peterborough races by winning the first three positions each time.
