held Sunday afternoon in St.
Patrick’s church, for Ryan
Wayne Carroll son of Mr. &
Mrs. Wayne Carroll. Mr. &
Mrs. Rick Taylor Corunna
were, godparents.
Rev. Thomas Johnston,
New York was guest
preacher. Mrs. Tom Kooy
Centralia was at the organ
and accompanied Mrs. Fred
Dyer, grandmother and Mr.
Harry Carroll, grandfather
of Ryan in a duet “God Will
Take Care of You.”

The May ACW meeting
was held Tuesday evening at
the home of Mrs. Mary
Jefferies. The roll call was
answered with a plant.
Mrs. Marguerite Greenlee
led in worship and was
assisted with prayers by
several members. Mrs.
Mary Davis read the
meditation and Rev. Mary
Mills spoke on the
meditation. Mrs. Hazel
Davis read a poem “The
Farmer”. Mrs. Vicky Gee
won the mystery prize. Mrs.
Mary Jefferies held a contest
won by Mrs. Cheryl Carroll.
The group discussed ways
and means and voted to hold
a chicken barbeque later in
the summer. Mrs. Hazel
Eaton read the minutes of
the April meeting. Mrs.
Mary Greenlee gave a short
report on the ACW Annual
held in London, May 3.
Following prayers a social
hour was enjoyed and Mrs.
Hazel Eaton moved a vote of
thanks to the hostess.
