Times-Advocate, 1979-04-25, Page 15Resort sewer job progress favorable Work on sewers in Grand Bend is progressing as ex pected, according to village clerk Louise Ciipperton. “I haven’t had any com plaints,” she says. Mrs. Clipperton says that the sewer work must be going well because no one has told her any differently. If people weren’t satisfied with the progress, she’d hear about it, she says. Main Street is blocked off at Huron Street and con struction is moving east from the beach. It is hoped that the street will be suitable for traffic with the sewers installed from the beach to Huron Street by May 24 weekend. The construction will then move to the north side of the village and will not return to Main Street until after Labor Day. Work is being done on the sewage lagoons just outside the village off Highway 81.
