Shirley Cooper presided assisted by V.G. Margaret Cook who also gave the sick and visiting report. Plans were finalized for the dessert euchre and bake sale being held March 27 in the Lodge Hall. Final arrangements were made for the IOOF curling bonspiel, Saturday. An invitation was received from Parkhill Emerald Lodge to Brothers night March 20. Three carloads plan to go. Thursday evening the officers and members will visit Victoria Lodge, London leaving Exeter by bus at 6:45. The Lodge will also visit Ruth Lodge, Strat­ ford, April 3. Olive Hicks reported the U.N. speakoff in Clinton when Aileen Underwood, Wingham was the winner. At the close of the meeting a penny sale was held followed by lunch. A special prize for the birthday closest to St, Patrick’s Day was won by Mrs. Bill Lamport. The next party will be in two weeks time. Sunday service Singing in a mixed quartet in the United Church Sunday morning were Mrs. Jack Essery, Mrs. Doug Gill, Sam Skinner and Bob Heywood. Overall champions for the day and winners of the John Broadfoot trophy was a rink from Exeter skipped by Ross Hodgert with Gord Ross, Bill Rowe and Ernie Ross. Runners-up was another Exeter rink skipped by Bob Coates with’Elmer Powe, Bill Brock aupd.Ray Mills.Exeter R'e%ekah Lodge served a bountiful supper to the curlers.
