Keith Brown asked three questions. “What is real worship?”, “How would God have us fulfill our obligation to Him (through worship),” and “Are there things you do not always understand in the service?” We should go to church to worship God, not to hear the minister. “And Jesus went to the synagogue as was His custom on the Sabbath day.” Jesus would have us follow his example, attending public worship each Sunday, as an aid to the believer. Our services of worship are based on Isaiah 6:1-9 through praise, confession, adoration, commission, response and dedication. Mr. Brown said “Our response to God’s plan should be the high point in the service as we give ourselves to God for the next week”, The responsibility of our work should compel us to “real worship” and our worship, if genuine, will motivate us and enable us to work and serve effectively.
