The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1977-08-04, Page 12Conduct ioint Church event Members of Lucan United & Holy Trinity Anglican held a'joint service in the former Church, Sunday morning, when Rev. Keith Brown conducted his first" service for the Lucan-Clandeboye Charge. Summer meditations will be on the Psalms and Mr. Brown based his remarks on Psalm I on Sunday saying there are two kinds of people, the blessed man and ungodly man, representing two life styles, one leading to life eternal the other to death, He said the ungodly are those who have not placed their faith and trust in God and are unsure of their relationship with God. The Psalmist points out the dangers and advises of the joy and gladness of doing God's will. If we wish to be truly happy we must drink of the river of life (God) constantly and follow His way. The flowers in the Sanctuary were from the funeral of the late Susan Smith. The sympathy of the congregation is extended to the family. Miss Debbie Lynn of Clandeboye was guest organist for the service. If there are any announcements please ,contact Rev. Brown at 227-1143 and members were asked to make a note of the new number. by oily Hamilton FREE estimates on Body & Collision Work 24 Hr.
