Area gymnasts win honors
in competition at Strathroy
By JOY SCHEIFELE
AILSA CRAIG
It was an excited group of
Sunday School children at Ailsa
Craig's Trinity Anglican Church
recently when a picture and
history finally arrived of their
adopted "sister".
The 16 children sought another
child needing help through the
Foster Parent's Plan and pledged
themselves to be responsible for
her support throughout the next
year at least. Corrie
Kromokariyo of Gunungkiful,
Indonesia was assigned to the
group who immediately adopted
her.

Liquor vote
is scheduled
Monday, June 6, has been of-
ficially set for the Village of Ailsa
Craig to hold a liquor vote.
A ratepayers petition was
signed recently by 30 percent of
the village's eligible voters in
favour of holding the vote. Before
a vote can be held, at least
twenty-five percent of eligible
!voters must be in favour of the
plebiscite.
The vote will be held on the
issue of licenced premises only,
of the girls when they read
l'orrie's history", Mrs.
MacGregor explained. "They
were really surprised to learn
how limited the diets are in
Indonesia for the most part. They
were shocked to discover that
meat was seldom eaten".
The children are supporting
their little eleven year old sister
through money raised by
themselves. The project is
completely above and beyond
their weekly offerings.
The children have also been
busy preparing for Mothers Day
when they will conduct the
morning worship service.
