remarks on the psalm.
At TV Intervieiw was conducted
with Mrs. Abbott as hostess in-
terviewing "Peter" (Mrs.
Buswell) asking about his life and
especially his associations with
Jesus before and after the
crucifixion, An Easter film
'God's Easter Plan" was shown.
There were flowers in the
church on Sunday in memory of
the late Jack Hepburn, placed
there by his father Mr. George
Hepburn and his sister Jean
(Mrs. W. Palmer),

Church assisted during the Faith
and Life Crusade, Zurich last
week. Sunday morning the
Evangelist, Bernie Smith of
Calgary, was guest speaker at
Zion's service. He spoke on fruit
bearing. Mrs. Peter Martin read
the New Testament lesson.
During the Sunday School
session,Russ Watson and Michael
Pierce, Strathroy, led the singing
and taught a chorus. Mr. Watson
and his friend Betty Orr were
guests at the home of Rev. & Mrs.
Bruce Pierce.

celebrated their 40th wedding
anniversary, Saturday with a
dinner and dance at Parkhill
Community Centre. Guests were

Crediton, Ailsa Craig, Seaforth,
Hensall, Mitchell, Sebringville
and Shipka.

cousins of Mrs. Dietrich. Also Mr,
the church will conduct the
service, with special music by the
Aletheia, a musical group from

Mrs. Lloyd England has
returned home from University
Hospital. Mr. & Mrs. England's
daughter, Mrs. Wes Sisson,
Burlington, is spending some
time with them,

home of Mr. & Mrs. Gordon
Morlock. Dr. & Mrs. Morlock's
daughter Lynn spent the March
break skiing in Switzerland.

Those who use Upper Room
booklets will be interested to
learn that the Social Club's
recent trip to Nashville in-
cluded a tour of the Upper Room
office building. Part of the
complex is a chapel, one wall of
which has a large wood carving
of the Last Supper. Prayer
requests are left in the chapel, or
mailed there, for the attention ''of
the staff.

CENTRALIA
The president Mrs. Alvin Lobb
opened the business with a poem,
"Easter Lilies" at the meeting
for Centralia U.C.W. Thursday
evening. The ladies were given
paper and envelope to write a
letter to Ottawa regarding the
"Code Price" system.
Every shopper should write to
oppose this system and defend
our rights in Canada, A request
was received from "Family
Services" in London for need of
clothing for all ages, male and
female, linens, cooking utensils
and cutlery.
Donations may be brought to
the church within the next two
weeks. A sum of $50 was voted to
buy new to go along with the good
used things brought in.
The U.C.W. have all occasion
and other cards for sale. Contact
