Following the regular Sunday
afternoon service in Cromarty
Presbyterian Church the
congregation met in the
basement for their annual
meeting. The Rev, Wilfred Jarvis
presided and Mrs. Robert Laing
was appointed Secretary.
Reports from the following
organizations were read and
approved: Session, Managers,
Women's Missionary Society,
Marion Ritchie Evening
Auxiliary, Ladies' Aid, Sunday
School, Trustees, Cemetery
Board, and (.,''romhenex Board.
The Manager's financial report
showed that a total of $7,169.70
was raised for current expenses
and $1,275.44 was sent to Toronto
PAGE BOY — Bradley Scott, a
grade eight student at Precious
Blood School in Exeter has been
selected as a Page Boy in the next
Ontario Legislature session ex-
pected to start in late February or

The Kippen East WI will hold
their.February 16 meeting in the
Legion Hall, Hensall, at 2 p.m,
with Mrs. M. Connolly and Mrs.
James Chalmers hostesses.
Elaine Townshend will be the
guest speaker and Mrs. James
Drummond will give the motto.
The roll call is a way to teach
children to be good citizens. Mrs.
Wm McDowell will give current
events, All members are asked to
invite a friend.

Mr. & Mrs. Jack Deitz, are
holidaying in Florida.
Mr. & Mrs. Warren Gibbings,
Clinton spent a few days in
Kippen during the storm with. Mr.
& Mrs. Elzar Mousseau.
Rev. & Mrs. Guy; Dashwood
were storm-stranded guests with
Mrs. Norman Dickert.
for the budget. A 1977 budget
allocation of $1,200. was ac-
cepted. Through Pete Banks, the
Sunday School sent $41.00 to the
Leprosy Mission.
The congregation decided to
try to raise their share of money
for the DOCK Project
(Development of Camp Kintail).
Each organization will appoint
one member to form a committee
for the DOCK Project.
Following discussion regarding
the enforcing of regulations for
Cemetery Board funds, a com-
mittee of Carter Kerslake,
Gordon Laing, John Scott, Ivan
Norris, Larry Gardiner, and John
Templeman, was elected to
cemetery board.
Other officers elected for 1977

Wallace; Sunday School

on Sunday, some walked, some
came by snowmobiles, and some
by car.

holidaying at the Barbados.

a vacation in the Bahamas
Saturday night, The last lap of
the trip was by snowmobile to
their homes,
Due to the weather many
things were cancelled including
church services and Vestry
meeting. Roads at time of writing
are passable, •
