WIDE AWAKE PRESBYTERIAN KIDS staged a 30 hour wake-a-thon '
last weekend to raise money for Guatemala relief. Their combined ef-
forts amounted to over S200 which is sent direct to Guatemala
through Inter-church Aid with no overhead charges. Front, Angela

March 8, 1976, the former
Margaret A. Hoggarth, Mrs.
Mary Ingram, of Hensall, died at
her residence, in her 66th year.
She was the wife of the late
John F. Ingram, (predeceased
1967), and mother of Mrs. Allan
(Jean) Crerar, Raymond, David
Ingram, all of RR 2 Hensall and
William IngraM of New
Lisleeard.
She is also survived by a sister
Mrs. Wes (Mary) Greenne,
Mitchell, and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted
from the Bonthron Funeral
Home, Thursday, at 2 p.m. with
Rev. Donald Beck officiating.
Interment in Hensall Union
cemetery.

Mrs. Robert Mickle of London
spent Sunday with Mrs. Laird
Mickle. Her husband Dr. Robert
Mickle left a week ago Monday
with a group of scientists from
Canada to the Tar Sands at Fort
McMurray, Alberta which is 280
miles north of Edmonton. He will
be gone on this scientific mission
for two and a half weeks and on
his return will leave with his wife
for a holiday in Spain.

FERRIS CANTELON
Ferris Clendenning Cantelon, a
native of Hensall, passed away in
Brampton Hospital on Wed-
nesday, March 3 in his 70th year.
Born and educated in Hensall
he was the son of the late David
and Kate Cantelon. He was
principal of the Hensall Con-
tinuation School for a number of
years before taking up residence
in Schomberg where he carried
on his profession. Surviving is his
wife Jean, a son Bruce of Bolton
and daughter Mrs. (Betty)
McMahon of Mississauga. Also
surviving are five grandchildren.
Funeral service was held from
the Eagen Brothers Funeral
Chapel, Bolton, on Saturday,
March 6, with interment in
Hospital, London recently. Her
son Stuart Horton of Montreal
spent the weekend with his
mother.

Rogerson were welcomed into

The ceremony of "Admission of
Elders" was held and the choir,
under the direction of Mrs. John
Turkheim, sang the anthem
"Come Spirit, Come".
The postponed World Day of
Prayer will be held as previously
arranged at St. Paul's Anglican
Church at 2:30 p,m. on Friday,
March 12. All women of the
community are welcome.

1881, Besides her two sons,

Mitchell, Mrs. Scott has one
brother, Lindsay McKellar,
Seaforth, and two sisters, . There
are also eight grandchildren and
14 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine Laing, daughter of
Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Laing, was
guest of honour at a community
bridal shower on Saturday
evening. Debbie Rennie was
chairlady for a short programme
including two contests, Places in
Perth, and Magazine Talk; a
sing-song, led by Muriel Scott
with Carol Scott at the piano; and
two solos by Ruth McPhail, ac-
companied by her guitar.

of good wishes and the bride was
assisted in opening her gifts by
