Paul Salmon and his parents
were stranded on Mount Carmel
road and the family of Mr. & Mrs.
Cinth Vogels came to the rescue
and we stayed there Sunday night
and most of Monday. Paul
Salmon was able to get home via
Joe Dietrich son of Charles
Dietrich on a snowmobile.
My parents were not able to get
home until Monday night.
Ironically, we had travelled 300
miles during the weekend and
were stranded in the last six
miles from home.
Mr. & Mrs. Bill McCann left
last Tuesday January 27 for
Florida and they met Ted and
Jean Love in Detroit. Mrs. Love
is Mr. McCann's sister. Also
accompanying them were Dan
McCann and Mr. McCann's
nephew Pat. They travelled in a
rented motor home.
Hockey Scores were: January
