Stephen township council has
informed the owners of Birch
Bark Trailer Park on the North
Boundary Concession east of
Grand Bend that . permanent
homes will not be allowed.
Council had given temporary
permission but the townships'
secondary plan which is now
being studied designates this
particular area for recreational
purposes rather than residential.
The Ausable-Bayfield Con-
servation Authority will be asked
to send a representative of
Golder Associates to study the
soil on the Kingsmere Gully
erosion problem.

Mary Ethel (McLeod) McFalls,
of Exeter, in her 90th year,
Beloved wife of the late Samson
McFalls, and dear mother of
(Ardys) Mrs. Gerald Glenn, of
RR1 Hensall, and Gerald
McFalls, of RR3, Exeter. Also
surviving are a sister Mrs. Rose
McFalls, Glanworth and a
grandson Randall Glenn. The
funeral was held Tuesday from
the R.C. Dinney Funeral Home,
Exeter with Rev. Harold Snell
officiating. Interment in Exeter
Cemetery.

at the recent Ontario Hydro
request for 30 percent increase in
rates.
A resolution from the Town of
Markham was also supported. It
asked that sports equipment
purchased by Wintario funds be
secured from local dealers.

deputy returning officers and poll
clerks will go up $2 to $25.
Two plan
retirement
Due to at least two retirements
there will be new faces on the
Usborsne township council for
the'1976-77 term.
Reeve Walter McBride has
decided to retire after 10 years of
municipal service. He served as a
councillor for six years followed
by two years each as deputy-
reeve and reeve.
Deputy-reeve Bill Morley who
has held that position since it was
established two years ago will be
seeking the reeve's position and
councillor Murray Dawson is
expected to Move up to deputy-
reeve.
Councillor Gordon Johns has
indicated he will be back for
another term but count. Jack
Stewart has decided not to seek
re-election.
