for a two week holiday to the

Mrs. G. Hindmarsh is spending a
couple of weeks with the family.

spend three weeks in Toronto,

Milison of London. On Sunday they
journeyed to Forest to visit Mr. &
Mrs. Frank Nichol. Mr. Nichol is
Mrs, Harlton and Mrs. Millson's

Sixty community elementary
school children and those that
will be starting kindergarten in
the Fall, attended Vacation
School at the United Church,
August 4-8.
This project is made possible
by the combined efforts of
teachers and mothers, and at this
time we would like to offer a word
of appreciation to all who par-
ticipated and gave up their time
to make the school a success.
Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs.
James Riddell for the use of their
pool, where the children enjoyed
a daily swim, under the watchful
eye of Rev. Mary Mclnally who
acted as lifeguard.
Miss Mclnally who gave up
part of her holiday time and also
led the children in religious in-
struction, Mr. & Mrs. Doug
Brown for their leadership, Doug
was in charge of senior sports
activities and the juniors were
under the leadership of Mrs.
Wilfred Riddell, senior crafts,
Mrs. Bruce Nixon, junior crafts,
Cindy Mills. Music, Mrs. Elwyn
Bryan.

the home of Mr. & Mrs. George
Snell owing to the death of the
ladies' mother, the late Mrs.
Grant Fraiser, of Egmondville.

accompanied by Mr. & Mrs.
Sherman Eaton, Bonnie and
Danny of Chatham were on a trip
last week through Northern
Michigan to Sault Ste. Marie and

relatives in Barrie before
