Zion Lutheran Church was the setting for the May 24, 1975 wedding of
Beverley J. Stire and Stewart A. Brown. The bride is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Stire of Dashwood and the groom is a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Russell Brown of Parkhill. Rev, Marvin Barz officiated while
Douglas Lewis provided the music. Maid of honour was Mrs. Carol
McCarthy of RR 8 Parkhill. Other attendants were Miriam Rosenberg,
Patricia Lee of London and Alice Brown of Grand Bend. Flower girl
was Sandra Stire of Dashwood. Best man was Larry McCarthy of RR 8
Parkhill while ushers included Jim Pickering, Jamie Regier, Joe Hodgins
and Richard Brown. The couple are residing at RR 3 Parkhill.

Mooney officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry
Cronyn, Centralia and the groom is the son of Mrs. Lloyd Roeszler,
Crediton and the late William Hodge. The maid of honour was Kathy
Scott and the bridesmaids were Gail Cronyn, Dianne Hodge and Joan
Hodge. Julie Lewis was the flower girl and Chad Miller was the ring
bearer. The best man wa's Bruce Hodge and ushers were Mike Cronyn,
Peter Wuerth and Dick Lord. The couple after a honeymoon to

bride's sister, Mrs. Roseanne Lavier and the best man was Les Jesney,

Hartman, Maid of honour was Miss Karen Madsen and best man was
Doug Jeffrey. Other attendants were Janet Marshall, Linda Marshall,
Carolyn Hartman and Debbie Steele. Groomsmen were Ron Hartman,

Frozen Strawberry Cream
2/3 cup sugar
1 2 cup water
2 egg whites
1 8 teaspoon salt
1 cup pureed strawberries
(1 pint)
11 2 pint (11 4 cups) Whipping
cream, whipped
Combine sugar and water and
bring to boil. Cook to 232 degrees
F. on candy thermometer or until
syrup spins 2-inch thread when
dropped into cold water. Combine
egg whites and salt and beat until
stiff but not dry. Pour hot syrup
slowly over egg whites, beating
constantly, and continue to beat
until mixture is cool. Fold in
strawberries. Fold whipped
cream into egg mixture. Turn
into serving dishes and freeze
until firm, Let stand at room
temperature 10 to 15 minutes
before serving. 6 servings,
