a sacrifice by John Hayter and
several Arva miscues,

Get senior
loop status
The 1974-75 season of the
Ontario Hockey Association
Senior Continental league was a
very successful one. but the
upcoming year should be bigger
and better than ever.
At Saturday night's annual
banquet at Stratford, league
officials were told by OHA vice-
president Hugh McLean that the
Continental league has been
granted full Senior "A" status.
McLean said the Continental
league outdrew the senior "A"
loop at the gate this past season
and is on a more solid footing.
The guest speaker, Bill Inkol of
CKCO TV in Kitchener suggested
the Continental league would
play a major role in the
resurgence of senior hockey in
the province. Inkol said the
reduction in professional hockey
rosters would provide the league
with an abundance of quality
players.
