Big winners
• By SID DALEY
Thought you might be interested
in the final winners of Branch
540's first annual cheque draw.
Three draws were made in
December — the winner of the
$100 November draw was Len
Maslen, Lucan and the winner of
the $100 December draw was E.
C. Nugent of London.
Now get this, the winners of the
biggey, the $1,000 draw were Tim
McFarlane and Mert Culbert,
Lucan who held a joint ticket.
This makes this team two time
winners for, if you will
remember, they won one of the
$100 draws as well.
We wish to congratulate the
1974 winners and thank all the
nice people who participated,
thus helping Branch 540 keep up
its active sports program for the
youth of Lucan and area.
The 1975 cheque draw cheques
are already on sale and if you are
interested in participating just
get in touch with either of our
stewards at 227-4751 or any
Legion member and they will
make sure you get your entry

Remember for $2,200 in prize
money - $100 monthly draw with a
grand draw for $1,000 in
December, is a mere $2 a month
which may be paid by 12 post
dated cheques at $2.00 each or
post dated cheques quarterly,
half yearly or a full payment of
$24.00 as long as at the year end
your total payments are $24.
Remember each month you have
one chance to win $100 but in
December you will have 12
chances at the $1,000. Why not
give it' a try and help 540 help
sports in our community.
