As soon as we woke up on
Christmas morning, we rushed
downstairs to see our presents.
But we had a big disappointment
because there weren't any
presents. Where were they? Why
weren't they there? Were there
any presents at all?
We woke up our parents and
asked them why there weren't
any presents. They just laughed.
Then Mom said that this Christ-
mas we would have to find our
own presents.
So we all started to search the
house. I was the first to find a
present, but it was a car for the
boys so I hid it again. David
found it though. By BRENDA MURRAY

would have to live in a boat. I3ut
the biggest problem would be
around Christmas because Santa
would not be able to get to you
children.
Now it is the year 2176 AD and
a drastic heat wave hit the whole
world. Soon everybody had
bought a boat large enough for
their family, The reason for this
move was because the North
Pole had melted.
Santa had also got a new giant
sized bath tub for his sleigh and
eighty seals with the first'two
having yellow and blue noses. He
had just started his annual trip
around the world when a
problem struck him. How was he
going to get into the boats?
Well he finally solved this
problem, He would go down the
smoke stack. The smokestack
method was working fine until he
got to the last boat. When he got
to the bottom he smelled
something'burning and found out
it was himself. So he rushed up
the stack and into the water and
was never seen again.
So be thankful this story is not
true and have a Merry Christ-
mas,

"Hurry up," say the sweet
children,
"Saint Nicholas is coming soon."
Each child is wishing for a pen,
And hopefully a huge balloon.
The stockings were hung up with
joy,
Then the kids went to bed to
sleep.
There were smiles on each girl
and boy
And not one of them made a
peep.
Saint Nick landed with all his
crew,
He crept down the chimney with
the toys,
Poor old Rudolf had a bad flu,
And the reindeer made too much
noise.
He set the gifts under the tree;
One a pen and a huge balloon,
And a star saphire ring for me,
Then he slipped 'onf. singing a
tune.
The kids were up and at the tree,
They looked startled at the pre-
sents.
Each one said "Some presents
for me?"
Then thank-yous started to com-
mence.

I was watching out the window
on Christmas Eve
And the tree tops were bare
I thought I'd better go to bed or
Santa Claus would leave
So I jumped in bed without a
care.
I was too excited to sleep
So I rolled over and counted
sheep.
One sheep, two sheep, three
sheep, four
I sure hope I soon start to snore.
Five sheep, six sheep, Seven
sheep, eight
I heard a sound at the garden

Now calm down, don't be a goof
You know Santa lands on the
roof.
I thought I'd go downstairs
And see if Santa was really there
