Proposed electoral boundaries
Give Tuckersmith to Huron-Middlesex
Parliament Buildings,

DeeeMber 12, 1974
Mr. Bill Batten,
The Exeter Times Advocate,
EXETER, Ontario.
Dear Bill
The enclosed maps might give
you a better idea of how
redistribution stands at the
present time.
The Electoral Boundaries
Commission have no intentions of
making any changes unless 10
members object, in which case
the matter will be debated in the
House,
Only then would minor changes
be made, in my estimation, but if
redistribution is brought into the
House for debate, then I feel we
should endeavour to, at least, put
Tuckersmith back in with Huron
Middlesex as it seems rather
foolish to expect the Member
from Huron-Bruce to travel two
miles south of Hensall, when No.
8 Highway could more
reasonably be considered the
dividing line.
A number of the NDP members
and the Tories are very
discontented with the boundaries
as proposed and I might say that
both Bob Eaton and Bill Stewart,
have expressed their
dissatisfaction to the Clerk of the
Assembly, regarding the loss of
Strathroy from the Middlesex
South Riding.
It would not surprise me to see
the proposed electoral boundary
changes come into the House for
debate and although I am pleased
to represent the riding as
proposed, I do think it would
make a lot of sense if Tucker-
smith was realigned with the
Huron Middlesex Riding,
Any comments you may have
would be reatly appreciated. ,
Jack Riddell, M,P,P.

Dear Santa,
I meant to do my work today,
But I kept thinking all about you,
All your elves and yourself.
I only want a few presents,
I only need about four,
Then I will be good once more.

A happy Christmas, for Marco 0 311:S prs P)4sPhat ;x1VPhesiAnkS-PhasAist4)44,,Nkv??,:3*)4z To our friends and clients.
The holiday., season, always will be a time for the' expres-
sion of good will and the exchange of friendly greetings.
Now as we grow older, we have come to cherish some- !cl
thing more valuable than material gifts; instead a true
friendship for all our old and new clients.
/Times change, but not in ways of friendship. An old fash-
ioned New Year's Greeting to you and yours full of health
and happiness.

her Martha. Marco liked her an
awful lot. Then the next morning
she asked Marco to spend Christ-

Christmas would be a happy

adopted nearly a month ago.
Marco was all alone now.
His feet ached and shivered,
and his rags barely kept him
warm enough to keep the cold
out. Marco was so cold and tired
that he finally fell asleep
wondering where he would go
next.
When he woke up , Marco
suddenly remembered that it
was the 22nd of Dec. Christmas
would be even worse than last
year. Just then an old lady came
up to him. "Son aren't you from
the orphanage?”
Marco looked up and replied,
"Yes but please don't send me
back. I have -no friends there.
Nobody likes me."
"How would it be if we went to
my house and talked things over
with a nice cup of hot
chocolate?" asked the old lady.
Marco stood up and took her
hand.
When they got to her house she
fixed some hot chocolate, and

Santa's going to be late,
Because he had a date.
If his wife finds out
He will get a clout.
He better wipe the lipstick
off his face
And speed up his slow pace.
His journey will be long
So don't do anything wrong.
Cause that will slow him down.
He has to get to town
He just made it in time
To finish this rhyme.
