Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Robert
Smith, Thorndale reported to
police he had a minor accident
while towing a trailer on Con-
cession 3 of West Nissouri
township. Constable Craig listed
damages at $250.
Constable Wilson set damages
at $1,500 Sunday at 11:10 a.m.
when vehicles driven by William
Jones, Granton and Gary Sch-
midt, London collided on High-
way 4, a quarter of a mile south of
Concession 12 in London town-
ship.
A detachment cruiser driven
by Constable J. A, Wilson was
slightly damaged Tuesday at 0
p.m. when it slid on an icy portion
of Centre sideroad a quarter mile
east of Concession 2 in Biddulph
township and went down a
ravine. Corporal B. F. Crane
investigated.
Constable James Craig and
Constable W. Gray of the London
detachment,
Thursday at 8:05 a.m. a vehicle
driven by Lorraine Bristol, RR 1,
Thorndale slid off County road 16
east of Highbury and struck a
mail box. Damages were listed at
$700 by Constable G. J. Barker.
Only 15 minutes later, a similar
accident occurred on Highway 7,
just east of old Highway 7. The
vehicle driven by Christopher
Dobson,London struck a highway
sign, Constable W. R. Disher
listed damages at $185,
Constable Craig set damages at
$50 Friday at 9:30 p.m. when a
vehicle driven,by Larry Whiting
Exeter struck a highway post on
Highway 4, just south of Birr.
Damages of $150 resulted late
Saturday morning when a vehicle
driven by Margaret Young,Lucan
was in collision with a parked
vehicle owned by Ken Latta, RR
1, Lucan. Constable Disher in-
vestigated.
Slippery road conditions were
responsible Saturday morning at
3:45 a.m. when a vehicle driven

Bissett, both of London collided.

meeting of Cromarty Ladies' Aid
last Monday night. The president,
Mrs. John Miller, welcomed the
guests and opened the meeting
with a reading, "Christmas in the
Country." Away in a Manger,
was sung. Mrs. Jean Carey read
the Christmas story followed by
the meditation by Mrs. James
Miller,
The roll call, "A Memory from
a Christmas Concert", was an-
swered by 9 members and 12
visitors. Mrs. Carey read a story
on the origin of several of our
Christmas carols, The meeting
closed with the singing of "Hark,
the herald angels sing", and the
Lord's Prayer.
The annual meeting followed
