MURRAY GLANVILLE Exeter United Church was decorated with candelabra and poinsettias for the December 6 wedding of Beverly Frances Parker to Murray Douglas Glanville. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. William Parker and the late William Parker of Exeter and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glanville of RR 1, Hensall. Rev. Glen Wright of- ficiated, Elenor Parker of London was the maid of honour and bridesmaids were Carolyn Glanville and Dena Graham. TIM COOPER Thames Road United Church was decorated with blue and white mums, roses and candelabra for the November 30 wedding of Beth Passmore to Tim Cooper. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Passmore, RR 3 Exeter, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper, RR 3 Kippen. Rev. Barry Robinson officiated. Judith Parker of RR 3 Exeter was the maid of honour and bridesmaids were Darlene Passmore, Sharon Passmore and Joanne Kints. Scott gave the afternoon session report. Fifteen members and five guests answered the roll call which was a gift for the cancer baskets, Mrs. Roy Cunningham was in charge of the program Mrs, C. Coughlin read a poem "A farm Christmas". Mrs. Allan Hill read a story written by Mrs. Margaret Blaize of Strathroy entitled "Do you know where Santa Claus came from". Mrs. Clarence Hardy led the group in a carol sing-song. Nancy St. Pierre had an in- teresting display of Christmas candles. Mrs. C. Hardy and Mrs, Janet Heaman displayed the crafts they 'made at the Fan- shawe courses, door swags and wreaths for Christmas, Thetneeting was adjourned and the hostess assisted by Mrs. Arnold Lewis, Mrs. Allan Hill and Mrs. Clarence Carter served refreshments. ELECTROHOME APPLIANCES Mrs. Eric Luther of Hensall led the Christian Womens Club song service on Sunday evening. Mr, Eric Luther played the organ for the singing of carols with a Christmas poem by Pearl Erratt and a vocal duet by Mrs. Britton and Mrs, Luther, The Hayfield volunteers visited the home on Monday to assist with the afternoon activities. Mrs. Myrtle Parker, Norman Speir and Jerry Collins provided the old time music Bruce and Susan Cann, Lela and Estella Finkbeiner, Milford Prouty and Mrs. Jean Triebner provided special numbers for the Tuesday afternoon Bible story conducted each week by Mrs. Prouty of Exeter, Twenty-five members of the Over 90 club met on Wednesday. Following the program of carol singing, recitations and readings lunch was served in the dining room. Mrs. Hackwell was a guest of the club and played the piano The Henderson Family of Seaforth entertained on "Family Night".
