Well folks Christmas count-
down has begun and shoppers are
Out in full force. Motorists are
warned to watch, for _pedestrians
caught halfway across the street.
A vehicle coming from the
opposite direction may frighten
them into stepping back to avoid
that vehicle and thus stepping
right into your path. Watch for
vehicles that might trigger such a
reaction and be ready to brake
safely.
Another safety tip that might
help on these icy. mornings.
When you are driving and you,
hit an unexpected patch of ice,
don't try to brake, accelerate or
steer, maintain speed and let
your vehicle "roll" through the
slippery area,

Defensively.
