Paul Mason scored two goals to head the Les Pines scoring, Getting one goal apiece were Ron Moore and Rick MacDonald. Scoring in single fashion for Usborne were Ron Dougall, Larry Skinner and Tim Ross. Martine 581 2 35 Mohawks better record The Exeter Mohawks per- forming for the first year in the South Huron intermediate hockey league scored a pair of victories this week. Thursday night at Huron Park the Mohawks trounced Centralia College 10-4 and Monday on home ice they scored an 8-5 win over the Zurich Flyers. A third scheduled game in Thedford against Jura was postponed because of weather conditions. The Mohawks are now idle until Robb, Charlie Bauman, Gerald Spruyt and Jeff Graham. Monday night at 8.30 p.m. at the Exeter Arena when they play host to the Shipka Colonials. 'Brad Datars and Terry Bourne each scored two goals to lead Monday's win over Zurich. Checking in with single goals were Murray Glanville, Gus Brown, Mike Cushman and Bill Van Bergen. Ron Desjardine with a two goal effort was best for Zurich. Get- ting one goal apiece were Ron Rader, Glenn Overholt and Pat Bedard. The Exeter victory over Centralia College was paced by the three goal performance by Murray Glanville. Bill Van Bergen and Al Rim- mer each fired two successful shots and single markers were added by Bob Parsons, Jim Pfaff and Dennis Bierling. The College goals came in single style from the sticks of Ed Juveniles get only one point The Exeter juveniles after an early lead were forced to battle back to gain a 4-4 tie with Dor- chester in a Shamrock minor 1 eague game, Sunday. After blowing a 3-1 lead they • battled back to gain a single point in the league standings on a goal by Fred Campbell on a pass from Kim McKinnon with only three minutes left to play. Each team scored a goal in the first period. Campbell was the first Exeter marksman on a play started by Gary Jennison and McKinnon. The Exeter club jumped into a quick two goal lead early in the second period on successful shots by Cam Haist and Steve Pfaff. Assists went to Pfaff and Camp- bell. Play continues in Ausable loop In Ausable Rec league hockey this week Malcolm Welding dumped Mt. Carmel by a score of 9-3 andParkhilledged Brinsley 5- 3. Paul Glavin paced the Malcolm Welding attack with a three goal effort while Wayne Ropp fired two successful shots. Getting one goal apiece were Marty Jones, Ernie Schlegel, Craig Kennedy and Gerald Nordemann. Jim Morrissey was best for Mt. Carmel with two goals and Ron Pickering added the third counter for the losers. Parkhill's win over Brinsley was led by a two goal per- formance by Adrian Van- dervloet. Checking in with single goals were Rollie Foster, Jim Scott and Dale Schram. Scoring in single fashion for Brinsley were Bill Hodge, Bob Hodgins and Greg Revington. Atoms defeated by Dorchester The Exeter atoms dropped a 3-1 decision to Dorchester in Shamrock minor "B" league play at the Exeter arena Sunday. The lone Exeter goal came in the first period when Scott Brintnell finished off a three-way effort with Brian Blackburn and Jim Siddall.
