service in Carmel Presbyterian
Church on Sunday, The choir
sang an anthem "Christ Is My
Pilot" under the direction of Mrs.
Malcolm Dougall, organist.
Communion service will be
observed on Sunday, December
9.
The Centennial Plaque placed
on the church was the gift of Mrs.
Margaret (MacLaren) Evans of
Waterloo in memory of her
parents Mr. & Mrs. R. Y.

Local man
passes away
George W. Armstrong of
Hensall passed away at his
residence on Friday, November
22 in his 84th year.
He was the husband of the
former Jessie Buchanan and
father of Mrs. Merlin (Jean)
Love, London, Mrs. Donald
(Betty) Flear Grand Bend.
Also surviving are six grand-
children.
The funeral service was held at
the Bonthron Funeral Chapel,
Hensall on Monday, November 25
with Rev. D, Beck officiating.
Interment was in Hensall
Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Doug Cook,
Gerald Campbell, Sandy Munn,
Harold Elder, Ross Corbett and
Lloyd Mousseau.
Flower bearers were Eric
Campbell and Steven Flear,
Baptism at
Hensall UC
Bradley John Alexander Kyle,
son of Mr. & Mrs. Don C, Kyle of
London received the sacrament
of Baptism in Hensall United

on anniversary
Mr. & Mrs. John Skea were
guests of honour Saturday
evening at a surprise party given
by their family and attended by
many of their friends in honour of
their 25th wedding anniversary.
The couple were the recipients of
many lovely gifts, cards and good
wishes.

Mrs. Gerald Moffatt, Kippen
graduated recently at the fall
convocation from the University of
Western Ontario with a Bachelor
of Arts degree from the faculty of
Arts, She majored in English. Mrs.
Moffatt is presently employed on
the teaching staff at Huron
Centennial School, Brucefield.

Mrs. D. Triebner introduced
the speaker and Mrs. Robert Bell
thanked him. The roll call was,

car insurance?" Mrs. V.
Alderdice gave a reading on
"Safety," Mrs. J. Sinclair on
"November" and "A little
fellow" and Mrs. Campbell Eyre
read "A Tale with a Twist".

surgery in St. Joseph's Hospital

Stratford recently, stating it was
the most gratifying rally held so
far.
The Charter of the Lodge will
he draped in the near future in

the request of the Assembly
President Sister Grace Love.
