Canon Davis Memorial Church, Sarnia was decorated with bouquets
of gladiola and candelabra far theSeptember 7 wedding of Bonnie
Kerslake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everard Kesloke, RR 2, Staffa to
Richard Cochrane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cochrane, Sarnia. Canon
Jones officiated. Denise Kerslake, sister of the bride was the maid of
honour and bridesmaids were Barbara and Marie Kerslake, sisters of
the bride, Mrs, Brian Melary, Lucan; and Mrs. Jane Buono, Sarnia.
Gerry Buono was the best man and guests were ushered by Stephen
Cochrane, brother of the groom, Richard Corby, Richmond, Mich.,
Sylvia Rondinelli and Len Berger, both of Sarnia. After a wedding trip
to Great Britain, the couple took up residence in Sarnia.

Elimville United Church was decorated with candelabra, pew bows
and pink mums for the candle-light ceremony of Janice Johns to Craig
Webber on November 2. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Philip Johns, RR 3, Exeter and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Webber of Elimville. Rev. Barry Robinson officiated, Elenor
Johns, sister of the bride was the maid of honour and bridesmaids
were Mrs. Elaine Webber, sister of the bride, Marion Van Roestel, Lon-
don, Mrs.Sandra Rowe, Woodham and Joan Lynn, Goderich. Dennis
Rowe was the best man and guests were ushered by Cliff Fulton,Elim-
ville and Gerald Johns, brother of the bride. After a wedding trip to

autumn wedding uniting Lois Marlene Wedrick and Richard Allen
Shantz. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wedrick,
Zurich, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elam Shantz, Zurich.
Rev. James Reusser, officiated at the ceremony. Jenny Schulow was the
maid`of honour and the bridesmaids were Mrs, Norma lutzi and Bar-

costumes herself. For many of
the dolls 'she had only parts at
first and has put them together,
clothed them and added cloth
bodies.
Any craftswoman could learn
something from this talented
lady. She is a compulsive
collector and maker, her hands
are never idle and her home
displays well the fruits of her
talent and time.
MR. AND MRS. ANTHONY (TONY) MACDONALD
Bethel Reformed Church was the setting of the November 9 wedding of
Marilyn Fredericia Duizer and Anthony (Tony) Edward MacDonald,
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Duizer of Clinton and
the groom is the son of the late Mr, and Mrs. Edward MacDonald of
Exeter. White daisies and yellow roses decorated the chur'ch. Janice
Turner was the maid of honour and bridesmaids were Angela Duizer
and Trudie MacDonald. Rid< Ingerane was the best man and guests
were ushered by Jim Wood and Terry MacDonald. After a wedding
trip to Northern Ontario the couple will reside in Exeter.

DISPLAY OF EUROPEAN CRAFTS — Mrs. Rether, Exeter straightens
a Saxon doll which was part of her display of crafts from the
,Transylvania Saxons at the European craft display Saturday„ si

Over 150 people turned out at
the High School Saturday evening
to see the display of crafts,
costumes and dances from
several European countries. The
display was sponsored by the
Anglican church women.
Mrs. Rether, in charge of the
event, displayed a collection of
dolls, handwOrk, embroidery and
antiques from the Transylvanian
Saxons. Her display included a
costume which was over 100
years old.
The Netherlands were well
represented with a display of
peuter, silver, china, dolls and
handiwork collected from several
Dutch families in the area. Mrs.
Engelina Van Essen was in
charge of the display and she and
her two daughters also modelled
costumes from the Netherlands.
Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Orenczuk
put on a very interesting display
of Ukrainian goods which in-
cluded a man's and woman's
costume, painting on wood in a
beautiful liqueur set and hand
painted wooden eggs, as well as
painting, embroidery and
cushions.
Malta was represented with a
display of Maltese lace
demonstrated and displayed by
Mrs. /Aquiline.
Mrs. Monteith and Mrs.
Anderson put on a display of
goods from Ireland and Mrs.
Jobson showed some of her own
work which included some
beautiful needlepoint work and
egg shell craft.
Also included in the event was a
bake sale of Christmas baking
and some ethnic foods, sponsored
by the Anglican Church women.
A group of young people from
Aylmer, representing the
Transylvanian Saxons en-
tertained an enthralled crowd
with authentic dances in
beautiful costumes.
Guests for the evening were
also entertained by Deb Wooden
who gave a ballet solo and her
class of six tots who did a ballet
