Special services were held
Sunday at the Church of God
when they celebrated their 25th
anniversary. They , held 2 services
at 11 a,m. and 3 p.m.
Special speaker was Rev. E.
Wolfram of Anderson Indiana,
and special music by the Crowe
family of Lansing Michigan.
Their first minister Rev. Glenn
Beach of Welland, who helped to
found and build the church in 1949
was present and brought
greetings.
Also greeting the congregation
was Reeve Bob Sharen of Grand
Bend,
Pastor Emeritus Rev. E.
Wattarn B. Th. presided at these
services,Thanksgiving lunch and
dinner were served to 200 persons
in the church basement.
Middlesex County Board of
Education this week authorized,
subject to Ministry of Education
approval, the lease of Ailsa Craig
public school and site to the
village council for community
purposes. Council has already
agreed to the terms of the lease,
including payment of one dollar
per year.
The Board also approved in-
structional ice skating programs
for 1468 elementary school pupils
in London and Lobo townships,

held their second meeting

Another popular program that
has operated for the past three
years will continue in the 1974-75
school year. It is the student aide
system that provides ap-
proximately sixteen young
people from North Middlesex
District High School- with op-
portunities to help pupils in
Kindergarten and Grades 4 to 8 at
Parkhill-West Williams Public
School hi language and
mathematics work.
Finally, for boys-and girls in
Grades 7 and 8 at Adelaide
School, where indoor activity
areas are inadequate, the Board
