Rev. Beaton conducted the service and the special music was a vocal duet by Captains Ralph and Alice Joyce. C.G.I.T. The C.G.I,T. meeting on Tuesday evening opened with a hymn and the member's purpose. Barbara Wilson and Robin Preece were in charge of the worship service. Business was discussed and games were conducted by Pauline Overholt and Karen Dietrich. Wendy Fields and Lori Cronyn led the sing-song-. Couple honoured on Anniversary Mr, & Mrs. Robert Breen were entertained on Sunday by their family at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Clarke, RR 2 Zurich, and were pleasantly surprised by a dinner at the Old Mill in Parkhill on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary. Mrs., William Jones introduced the guest speaker Jenny Hinge of Australia an exchange high school student attending St. Marys District Collegiate. She presented a very interesting talk and showed slides on life in Australia. Mrs. Elmer Harlton thanked her and presented her with a gift of appreciation. It was announced that the Fall Deanery is being held at St. Pauls church Stratford on October 17 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday morning in Granton United Church Rev. M. Mclnally's sermon was "What shall I offer to God for all His goodness to me?" Bridal Shower Wednesday evening in St. Thomas Anglican Church a bridal shower was held in, honour of Marlene Hodgins. Mrs. Gordon Hodgins welcomed everyone and Mrs. Margory Morley presented a reading which everyone en- joyed. Marlene was assisted in opening her lovely gifts by Misses Joan Hodgins, Gwen Hodgins, Suzanne Prekup and Laurie Ann Hodgins, Couple Married 14larine ,Squires wasrunited in marriage to Jamie Ready, Friday evening in a lovely candlelight ceremony in Granton United Church with Rev. M. McInally officiating. Special wedding music was provided by Mrs Elwyn Bryan. A reception and wedding dance followed at the Kirkton-Woodham Centre.
