FRED RoviDEN CENTRALIA The September Meeting of the Messengers was held in the schoolroom of the United Church on Sunday morning with the leaders, Mrs, M. Bnswell and Mrs. IL Smith in charge, The Messenger hymn was sting and Mrs. l3uswell told the story "Some Money for God." A game was played with Jeff Oreb as the winner, This was followed by the story "George Leads the Singing." The• Messenger motto was repeated in Unison. At dinner in the Patio Restaurant in Surrey B.C. a toast was proposed by Mrs. Hiebert's eldest daughter to the brides and grooms, afterwhich the Hieberts were presented with an electric lamp and the Neils were presented with an anniversary card and a sum of money.
