Mrs, Helen James, Windsor,
guest speaker, took for her topic,
"New Day Dawning," Mrs. Den
Gaiser thanked the guests and
Rev. Bruce Guy„ closed with
prayer.

Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid
Group 2 of Zion Lutheran
Ladies Aid was in charge of
Devotions and lunch for the
September meeting. Nineteen
members answered the roll call.
Pastor Frank Morgret was in
charge of the topic, "Open forum
on Christian Education,” with
discussion,
Mrs. Arnold Becker, president,
dealt.with the business, Report on
summer work showed a busy Aid.
A generous donation was given to
the church building fund from the
sale of pies donated by ladies of
the congregation on Friedsburg
Days. The Altar Guilds were also
active, providing flowers for the
services and visiting the sick,

Mr. & Mrs. John Wade have
returned' from a summer spent
at their cottage in Carlyle,
Saskatchewan. The weather was
pleasant there except for a
drought which was broken by mid
August rains.
The next meeting of the
Explorers will be held Tuesday
afternoon September 24. Officers
will be appointed at that meeting.

The organizational meeting of
the 4-H Club Girl Entertains was
held Monday evening in the
Community Centre.
The meeting opened with the 4-
H pledge. The president of the
Women's Institute, Mrs. Cliff
Kenney, was present and
