Larnbton County court last week
for his part in a chase that ended

$150 when he swerved to avoid a
collision with a vehicle driven by

Mr.. Miles suffered injuries

Police report they have receiv-
ed a number of complaints
regarding the fact some
motorists are not stopping for
school buses which are unloading
or picking up students, The law
requires that motorists stop
when the lights on the bus are
flashing.
Area residents are also
reminded that in emergency
cases when there is no answer at
the Exeter detachment office or
any other detachment, the police
can be contacted by asking the
operator for Zenith 50,000.

Skating club

would be increasing fees $2 this
year, noting that this was all the
club could consider in view of the
"drastic" hike made last year.
Stephens asked the club

town skaters as those residing in

Two brothers get jail terms
Two receive settlement
Area collision total
shows some decline
Franks and the chase ended, at
Rade's Restaurant at Northville,
Jurgen Bade pointed a loaded
shotgun at the three officers at
the scene, and when he failed to
comply with their repeated
warnings to put the gun down, he
was shot in the upper right leg by
one of the officers,
A fracas ensued with the other
two men as well before they were
overcome by the investigating
officers.
The officers involved were
Constables Bud Gardiner, Mike
Cushman and Fred Hubert.
All three sustained minor in-
juries as the result of the skir-
mish,
