of 26-18. This being the last

Dr. Constance Wagner,
Minister of Theology, is visiting
with Rev. Mary Mcinally for a
few weeks. The minister and Dr.
Wagner have left an a two week
camping trip.
The senior girls had two rained
out games to get in last week.
Wednesday night they played
Kirkton at the Kirkton ball
diamond and won 15-8, Thursday
night they played Usborne at
Exeter ball park and came home
with another Win 24-1B.
These were two very important
wins for the Granton team as it
placed them in third spot in the
league standings. Play-offs begin
next week.

home from a motor trip to the
west coast. They visited with the
Davis family in Victoria, B.C.
and also the Hoag families in the
Peace River district, Alberta and
many other friends and relatives.
Mr. & Mrs, Bill Craemer and
Michael of Windsor visited on
Friday with Mr. & Mrs. Jack
Smith. Mrs. John Rodd attended the
training school at Alma College
this week.
Mr. & Mrs. Duncan
McNaughton were Sunday dinner
guests with Mr. & Mrs. Fred
Parkinson, Margaret and Janet,
Mr. & Mrs. Don Brine, Cheryl
and Daryl spent several days
holidaying in the Huntsville and
Haliburton district last week.
The community was shocked to
hear of the sudden passing of Pat
Dickey on Saturday last. Sincere
sympathy is extended to his wife
and family.

sister and niece of England.

Mrs. Ray Regular of Centralia.

Gary attended the baseball
tournament at Walter's Falls on
Saturday,
Mr. & Mrs. Skinner spent the
weekend with Mr, & Mrs, William
Morley at their cottage in
Wiarton. They visited the Church
of St. Margaret, Cape Chin, while
they were there.
Mr. & Mrs. Allen Elston visited
the Mohawk Reserve in Brant-
ford recently. They visited the
historic Mohawk Chapel and also
the birth place of Indian poetess,
Pauline Johnson.

STARTING YOUNG — Brink Doner is just four years old but is
already interested in the sport of model airplane flying. Brink got in a
little practice with his own gliderwhile his father, John Doner of New
York watched at the National Canadian Model Airplane Cham-
, pionships, held last week in Huron Park.
