IN MEMORIAM —
KNIGHT — In loving memory of a
dear wife, mother and grandmother,
Linda Knight, who passed away
August 5, 1973.
When the ties of love are broken
And loved ones have to part,
It leaves a wound that never heals,
And an ever aching heart.
Sometimes it's hard to understand
Why these things have to be,
But in his wisdom God has planned
Beyond our power to see.
Remembered with love by husband
Clarence, daughter Beatrice, sons
Lloyd and Ray and families. 31c
LOVIE — In loving memory of a dear
husband, father and grandfather.
John G, Lovie, who passed away
three years ago August 4, 1971.
There is a gift in life you cannot buy
That's very rare and true,
It's a gift of a wonderful husband
Like the one I had in you.
'The many things you did for me
In your kind and loving way,
You gave me years of happiness
No one can take away,
Nothing could be more beautiful
Than the memories I have of you,
To me you were someone special
God must have thought so too.
Lovingly remembered by wife
Sarah and famil, 31p
STEPHEN — In loving memory of
our dear daughter, sister and auntie.
Lorene Olive (Hodgins) Stephen, who
passed away so suddenly six years
ago on July 31, 1968 in her 23rd year.
Six years ago we had a rose,
A human one I mean,
Her face was filled with character,
The beauty of a queen.
Her smile had real sincerity,
That shone as purest gold,
Her countenance was that of faith
And hope in days to be,
Lined with velvet sweetness,
Which fashioned Heavens key,
God knew best for reasons divine,
But memories last for all the time.
Sadly missed and lovingly
remembered by her Mom and Dad,
sister Lois arid family. 31c

Designs new
catamaran
Mr. Fibreglass,an industry at
Huron Park that makes canoes
has come out with a new design of
sailboat, called the Calypso.
The Calypso is a catamaran, a
type of sailboat with two pontoons
joined by a platform for
passengers. Most catamarans
have a platform made of canvass
but the Calypso has a solid one
with raised sides.for seats. There
are also two storage lockers for
camping gear and an optional
tent which can be pulled over the
deck.
Clarence Gilbert of Exeter and
Jim Grinwood of Huron Park
partners in the business say they
aregoing to advertise the boat as
one you can "weekend on." The
boat can be sailed right up on the
beach.
The present Calypso model is
in feet but plans are under way
for a 12 footer and 20 footer,
The Calypso is the only
Canadian designed catamaran on
the market, Two models have
already been sold to Montreal
and Gilbert and Grinwood hope to
be able to go to the Toronto boat
show in January,
Production on the new sailboat
is just getting started. They hope
to roll two to three a week off
their line,
The firm started out just
making canoes in a small garage
last year but in January, ex-
panded and moved into their
present building.
