Plan to dedicate new organ
at Greenway church service
held in Grace Anglican Church at
11:15 a.m. each Sunday during
August when the minister of the
United Church, the Rev. Harold
Dobson, is on vacation.
A highlight of the service next
Sunday will be the dedication, by
the Rev. Walter Mills, of the
recently purchased Hammond
organ. Dwayne McLinchey,
Sarnia, will be the guest organist.

A bridal shower was held at the
home of Mr. & Mrs. Jack Hut-
chinson, Sunday afternoon, for
their daughter, Anne, bride-elect
of next month.
Mr. & Mrs. Clare Reid, Weston,
have moved to their home here on
Saturday. The village population
is now increased to 29.
Sympathy is extended to the
family of the late Mrs. Arnie
Lagerwerf who passed away in
Strathroy Hospital, Saturday.
Mr. & Mrs. George Gallen are
expected home this weekend,
having' enjoyed a two week post-
wedding anniversary holiday in
Northern Ontario.
Mrs. Bill Clarke is holidaying
with her relatives in Newfoun-
dland.

STAFFA.
The agriculture and Canadian
industries meeting of the Skaffa
Women's Institute was held July
24 in the township hall with 11
ladies present.
During business it was decided
to enter a display at Mitchell
Fair, A committee was named to
plan a quilt block for the Science
Centre in Toronto, Plans were
begun for a Halloween Party in
October with three neighbouring
Institutes as guests.
A letter was read from Scar-
chile Women's Insitute, in the
county of Derbyshire England
requesting letter friends.
Roll call was answered by
everyone naming a implement
beginning with one of their
Mrs,
initials.
Jo Van Valkengoed
presided for the program. Mrs.
Russell Worden presented a
paper on the motto - He is king
upon his throne, who has aces of
his own. Mrs. Van Valkengoed
took as her topic Agriculture in
Holland, telling about the
Poldars, and the sea being
drained to be put into production
for agricultural purposes,
The first nutrition hint was
given by Mrs. Charles Douglas
and she also distributed pam-
phlets on cereals and nutrition
and Canada's Food Guide. A trio
of melodies was played on the
piano by Mrs. Robert
McCaughey.
Mrs. Garnet Taylor who moved
to Seaforth inthe spring was
present and Mrs. Douglas made a
presentation of an Institute pin to
her on behalf of the members.
