of their lopsided wins as they
came up with a 28-7 margin in
Dashwood, Saturday.
The winners hammered out a
total of 23 hits, compared to only
five given up by Wayne Parsons
and Steve Pearce who shared the
win.
Coach Ron Bogart used 14
players in the contest and all but
three hit safely as they com-
pletely overpowered their hosts.
The win brought the locals'
record to three wins and two
losses in league play. Both losses
were to Goderich.

leader for Exeter as he con-
tributed three singles and a
double. Steve Wells had two
doubles and a single, Steve

some effective relief pitching as
he allowed Dashwood only one
run in the final three innings after
Parsons experienced control
problems.
Exeter had two big innings in
the game, scoring eight times in
the third frame and seven in the
fifth.
Karen Brock pitched for

only three safeties,

error and came home without the
aid of a hit.
In their final game of the
season, the Crediton crew posted
a' 9-8 triumph over Goderich,

in the fifth frame as they sent
eight men to the plate.

and Smith all had two •hits for
Crediton. Preszcator's other
safety was a double.
Larry Clarke and Paul Shapton
had one single each for the losers.
