Township of Usborne Auditor's Report
To: The Members of Council, and Ratepayers of the Corpora-
tion of the Township of Usborne.
I have examined the 1973 financial statements of the Corpora-
tion of the Township of Usborne, which are listed on the at-
tached Index. My examination included a general review of the
accounting procedures and such tests of accounting records and
other supporting evidence as I considered necessary in the cir-
cumstances.
In my opinion these financial statements present fairly the
financial position of the Corporation of the Township of Usborne
as at December 31st, 1973, and the results of its operations for
the year then ended, in accordance with accounting principles
generally accepted for Ontario municipalities applied on a basis
consistent with that of the preceding year.

Swim pool
busy spot
' By DONNA DOIDGE
The hot humid weather has
certainly kept us busy this week
at the pool. It seems that when we
are not swimming we are home
washing our hair. Due to a slight
chemical inbalance of the water
in the pool, all our fair haired
clientele are suffering from slight
discolouration of the hair,
We have the problem in the
water eliminated now and those
people with green hair should be
back to normal soon. We hope! -
The first Huron zone com-
petitive swim meet is to be held
on Saturday at the Exeter pool.
The Exeter club will host teams
from Listowel, Kincardine and
Wingham. We would certainly
appreciate your support on
Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-12 'noon.
A pre-season officials clinic will
also be held at the Exeter pool
Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Due to our enthusiastic adults
we are able to set aside a special
time for adult swimming.
Starting the week of July 15, each
Tuesday and Thursday from
8.:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. shall be
adults only at a cost of 50c, We
need to have your support for this
to continue all summer.

This match went to the 22nd

with Doig down one after nine but
he came back to oust John Wellar
of Elliott Lake three up with two

The final match brought Doig
face to face with his golfing
buddy Bob Bradley of Oshawa. It
was another close battle with the
victory coming on the 18th hole as
Doig birdied to preserve his lead.
About three weeks ago Doig
won the Stratford Gold and

first victory came back in 1952,
